EcoCore AP Mini Series High Wall Heat Pumps

NZ's smallest Heat Pump Units

New Zealand’s Smallest Heat Pumps

Just in time for what is set to be a record breaking, warm summer, the team at Mitsubishi Electric have given us New Zealand’s smallest, most compact heat pump system.

At only 250mm high and 760mm wide, the
EcoCore AP Mini is designed for places where you might not otherwise fit a heat pump unit.

2020 has been an unusual year to say the least and it’s safe to say that many of us are working from home more, and generally spending more time at home.

It can make a huge difference to your day (and night) if your temperatures stay cool and comfortable through the hot summer and that’s where the new AP Mini’s will come into their own.

They are perfect for any room where wall space is tight and with a super compact footprint (19.6% size reduction in height when compared to the bigger EcoCore AP Series models) these AP Mini models are a great addition to your home office space, or smaller bedrooms.

Small but Mighty

Just because the AP mini heat pump range is small, doesn’t mean it doesn’t come packed with all the heating and cooling technology Mitsubishi are well known for.

Super Energy Efficiency

The new mini range continues Mitsubishi Electric’s excellence in
superior energy efficiency by incorporating a large, high-density heat exchanger, an advanced high-efficiency fan motor and a next-generation compressor using the latest in super-efficient R32 refrigerant. This also helps to minimise environmental impact

Blue Fin Coating protects the outdoor unit

The outdoor unit’s heat exchanger has been treated with Blue Fin Anti-Corrosion Treatment. This slows the corrosion process caused by salt and sulphur in the air, especially in coastal and high sulphur areas.

Dual Barrier Coating keeps the indoor unit’s key components clean

The patented and world’s first Dual Barrier Coating from Mitsubishi Electric
prevents dust and dirt from accumulating on the inner surface of the indoor unit. This keeps your heat pump clean year-round.

Optional Wifi Control

Wifi Control is easy to add as an optional extra with the Mini range. Wifi Control means you can control your heat pump from wherever you are, even if you are in a different country, so you’ll always return home to the perfect temperature.

Mitsubishi AP 20 & AP 15

The AP Mini Range features two models:

The AP20, 2.0kW model  is available for both single split and multi room.

The AP15, 1.5kW is available for multi room connection only.

Small Heat Pump FAQs

Are these mini heat pumps powerful enough for small rooms or home offices?

Yes! Despite their compact size, the EcoCore AP Mini Series delivers full heating and cooling performance. With models like the AP20 (2.0kW) and AP15 (1.5kW), they are ideal for bedrooms, home offices, or any room with limited wall space, providing energy-efficient comfort without compromising on power.

Can the AP Mini heat pump be controlled remotely?

Absolutely. The AP Mini range can be fitted with optional Wi-Fi control, allowing you to adjust your heat pump from anywhere, even if you’re away from home. You can ensure your space is the perfect temperature before you arrive, making your home comfortable and convenient.

How durable are these mini heat pumps, especially in coastal areas?

The AP Mini heat pumps are built to last. The outdoor unit features Blue Fin Anti-Corrosion Treatment to protect against salt and sulphur in the air, while the indoor unit includes Dual Barrier Coating to prevent dust and dirt build-up. This ensures long-term performance and minimal maintenance.
